No pet left behind

Just read where a older dog was forced off a bus during katrina evac. You mean the owners put their dog out to the trash? and then want it back? My dog goes where I go or I stay behind with it. Sorry, you wouldn't leave a child so why leave a cherished pet? Over my dead body, or two, me and the pet.
